Babies have more bones than adults.

Babies are born with about 300 bones. Adults have 206. As babies grow, some of their bones fuse together. Some infant bones are made entirely of soft, flexible tissue called cartilage that’s slowly replaced by hard bone as the baby develops.

Even though it’s really connected to your upper arm bone (the humerus), you may not find hitting your funny bone a laughing matter. If you’ve ever hit your elbow in that certain spot, you know it can cause a weird tingling or a dull pain. But never mind the name -- your funny bone isn’t a bone at all. It’s a nerve that runs down the humerus to the inside part of your elbow.

When do bones stop growing?

Bones usually stop growing when you're in your late 20s, but they keep changing. As you age, bones lose density and get thinner and easier to break. You can help keep them healthy by getting plenty of calcium and vitamin D, and by doing exercises that keep you on your feet.

Bones make red and white blood cells.

Bones have a few different jobs. They give our bodies structure and allow us to move. They protect our organs from damage -- your skull protects your brain and your ribs protect your heart, lungs, and liver. Your bones also make red blood cells, which carry proteins and oxygen to tissues, and white blood cells, which help fight infections.

Which bone gets broken the most often?

The clavicle, better known as the collar bone, leads the list of breaks. It can be easily fractured by hits to the shoulder or by falling on your hand or arm. Breaks in the hands and arms are common as well, because we often use them to try and stop falls.

Let's put this old wives’ tale to rest. The bubbly carbonation in soft drinks won’t hurt your bones, but that doesn’t mean drinking soda is a good idea. Some studies show that the caffeine and phosphorus in colas can weaken your bones. If you want to drink something good for your bones, choose milk or a beverage with extra calcium, like fortified orange juice.

How many bones in your body are not connected to other bones?

Remember a song called “Dem Bones?” That old tune might have helped you remember that the leg bone is connected to the knee bone. But it sure didn’t mention the hyoid, a V-shaped bone at the base of your tongue. The hyoid is the only bone that isn’t connected to another one.

Is smoking bad for your bones?

It’s well known that cigarettes are bad for your lungs, heart, and overall health. But they’re also bad for your bones. Nicotine and other chemicals in cigarettes make it harder for your body to absorb the calcium your bones need to stay strong. Cigarettes lower vitamin D levels, too.

Today at a gym having high quality international equipment, there was a bottle on a dumbbell chair. So I asked a person who works at the gym for help regarding the bottle that who's is it because I wanted to use that chair. The person responded that how can he know and that he said that I can move it. I told him that I can't and that's why I'm asking the gym on which he said that what can he do about it which was shocking since it seems that he works in sales. By then some floor cleaner was passing by there on which he called the cleaner and said that the cleaner would help me. By then some member picked up the bottle.

Then when I went to use the dumbbell chair, I found that the seat was moving left and right quite a lot and that it was highly unstable. I told a trainer about this. When I was leaving the gym, I told some other trainers including senior trainers about this that this can be lethal on which a senior trainer said that this cannot be lethal. I then explained that someone who doesn't know well about working out if sits on it and does shoulder press with dumbbell and that if the person loses a bit of control then that person can even get paralyzed and then I again said that this is lethal on which the senior trainer didn't say that it's not lethal. I told them that they should've removed this chair right away at least after I brought it to notice on which I heard comments like it would take few rupees to buy a screw to fix it which might even be right, however, the fix being very simple doesn't mean the problem isn't very serious. They removed the chair from the workout floor after that.

I don't think that these people at the gym mean any harm to anyone, however, how much concerned are they for their clients? The punching bag is damaged on which I asked why. I was told that the clients don't use it properly and that it was getting lose from the bottom and then it broke because the clients didn't tighten it when it was lose. I said that I was noticing the bag to be lose for several days. Shouldn't the gym be maintaining it on which I was told by a senior trainer that whoever he trains on the punching bag, he tells them on how to properly use it. I told him that I don't think that all clients have been trained by him on it and so how can he expect that the clients would ensure that it's tight. Moreover, it had been getting lose for days and I thought that the gym would do something about it because I didn't know what to do about it. I wasn't told by this or any other trainer that keep tightening the bag to its base. Moreover, wouldn't this be like a regular task to do by the gym for maintaining its equipment?

During the workout, another trainer came and told me to re-rack the weights. I told him that I've spoken to the owner about this issue that there are members willing to contribute to hire someone who can wipe clean and re-rack the equipment and also wipe clean the benches on a very frequent basis on which the owner had said that my feedback has been received and that some days later the owner had even asked me later if anyone asked me again for it. I thought that this issue was addressed. Getting quality to high quality things from around the world is great, however, then such experiences are highly unfortunate.

Aisi Indianness kitni? How much is such Indianness? How to become like the best in our world? Kya Indian in general sochta hai ki uski soch kaisi hai? Does Indian in general think that how is that person's thinking? This is happening at a very expensive gym by Indian standards. I took a friend to the gym yesterday who runs a shop to show him if he might be interested on which he said it's very expensive.

Imagine Lord Krishna running a company!!!

This thought came to me due to some different recent experiences. I've had to let go a freelancer from http://www.spasandsalonsindia.com/ work because the person wasn't meeting even half the targets. The person sms'd me today that yesterday the target wasn't met because of neck pain and that the person would've done the work today morning. I've told the person several times to share with me timely on any issues. I've also been very accommodating to this person even after several delays have happened. Due to my constraints also, I had to let go this freelancer and I suggested the person to join a large company because the person would learn good things there. This person had earlier worked for a small company which closed and they didn't even pay the person the dues.

How much greatness do you find in companies in India in general considering the best in our world? I think that if people would work for large companies then they could learn a lot even when they would later work for other companies in India. By large, I don't mean the number of people like it might seem in India. By large, I mean the quality of most people in that company and the value being generated.

I would think that if Lord Krishna ran a company then the required quality of people would be attracted to the company. I might also stay in Mathura in the coming months due to the air pollution here. Please bless me Lord Krishna that I would also build and grow large companies.
