The science behind CoolSculpting

The science behind CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is a FDA approved treatment meant to reduce the fat cells by using cooling technology which will not require any downtime. Reduction in the fat cells at the treated area will provide noticeable and lasting results which help you to feel and look your best.

When you have tried a strict diet and intense workout but you are not able to get rid of the stubborn fat, then you can get help from CoolSculpting. The treatment is done by someone who has mastered the technology in order to administer the procedure which is safe and also comfortable. This provides results which you will like. With just one treatment, you will be ready to achieve a toned and sleek body.

How CoolSculpting works

CoolSculpting is based on science. The fat cells will freeze at low temperature compared to the tissue that surrounds it. The technology helps to target the fat cells under the skin which will cool them and result in fat cells to die naturally. The process is called cryolipolysis and it means that the frozen fat will die. Since the fat cells can crystallize faster compared to normal cells, the nerves and skin will not be affected in any way.

As time passes, the treated fat cells can shrink and die. The body will metabolize them naturally and it will eliminate dead cells while leaving a sculpted body. Contrary to exercise or diet where the fat cell will only be reduced, when the fat cells die and get eliminated, they will be eliminated for good.

With every session, you can decrease the fat cells up to 20 percent. Every additional treatment will enhance the results and it will reduce another 20 percent of the fat cells during each session.

CoolSculpting compared to liposuction

Liposuction is a surgical procedure and it requires the person to get general anesthesia. It works by using large tubes in order to pull away the fat from the area that is being targeted and you will see your results at once. Since this is an invasive treatment, you will have to wait for two weeks before you can go back to your job.  However, with CoolSculpting, you will not need any downtime since there is no surgery involved.

What to expect after CoolSculpting procedure?

During CoolSculpting, you may feel the sensation of cramping, aching, stinging, tingling, intense cold, mild pinching, tugging or pulling on the site which is being treated. The sensation will subside when the area becomes numb. After the procedure, the common side effects are itching, aching, cramping, tenderness, stinging, tingling, firmness, bruising, blanching, swelling and redness. Such effects are normally temporary and they will resolve in a few days or few weeks. In rare cases, there are some additional side effects that may take place which will be covered by your surgeon. During the consultation, your surgeon will let you know if you are the right candidate for the procedure and if your expectations are realizable or not. CoolSculpting can also treat a double chin and contour your neck as it does your thighs, side or flanks and abdomen.

After a CoolSculpting procedure, it is possible to return to your daily activities right away. The procedure is not surgical so there is no need of downtime. It is possible for most patients to go back to their work at once after a CoolSculpting treatment.

It is always necessary to go for a follow up in order to discuss with your surgeon about your results and any additional treatments you may need. Keep in mind that a healthy body is a happy body and you should be happy because of the results you got.

You will start to see some changes in 3 weeks after your treatment and you will experience most dramatic results in 2 months. The body continues to flush away the fat cells for around 6 months after the treatment. However, with the results of CoolSculpting, some patients may be motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle. In case you gain weight after the procedure, it will be gained evenly around the body and it will not be only in the treated areas.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, 25 November By resolution 54/134 of 17 December 1999, the United Nations General Assembly designated 25 November as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and invited governments, international organizations and NGOs to organize activities designed to raise public awareness of the problem on that day. Women's activists have marked 25 November as a day against violence since 1981. This date came from the brutal assassination in 1960, of the three Mirabal sisters, political activists in the Dominican Republic, on orders of Dominican ruler Rafael Trujillo (1930-1961). On 20 December 1993 the General Assembly, by resolution 48/104, adopted the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women. "Millions of women and girls around the world are assaulted, beaten, raped, mutilated or even murdered in what constitutes appalling violations of their human rights. [...] We must fundamentally challenge the culture of discrimination that allows violence to continue. On this International Day, I call on all governments to make good on their pledges to end all forms of violence against women and girls in all parts of the world, and I urge all people to support this important goal." I wrote this yesterday: I just got my nephew an infra-red gun having target as a turntable with lights and music. Using my iPhone, I've made some videos of him and a girl of six years visiting him. She said "yeh game achcha hai" (this game is nice) and "iss gun se kisi ke car ke tire ko shoot karna hai..." (have to shoot someone's car's tire with this gun). My iPhone is having issues and its battery even ran out once while making the video although the video got saved after I plugged it into my laptop and it turned on after charging for a short while. I've to figure out how to transfer the videos to my laptop so that I can upload it because even though it's connected to my laptop, I'm unable to browse it.

Today, November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. I knew that some people were going to visit my relatives (I'm visiting them) to meet a relative visiting from Canada, however, I didn't know that a six year old girl would also visit. She and my nephew are playing with it and it seems with a lot of interest. I've showed them a few things so that they can do it well enough.

I wish our men and women a safe and secure life. There are pigs and tigers and many other animals and then there are humans. What should be our fight as humans? Indian in general kaisa? Kya waisa jaisa hawaa, paani aur khaana in general uska? Aur yeh sab ki quality kiske jaisi? I wish us best!
