Fatty liver or steatosis is a condition when fat (fat) accumulates in the liver. Although it is common to have fat in the liver, but five to 10 percent more fat is called disease. The disease is found in about 30 percent of people and 60 percent of those who are at risk of heart diseases and 90 percent of obese people are also at risk of fatty liver.
The liver is the second major part of the body. The liver processes what we eat or drink and the harmful elements in the blood. If the liver becomes very fat, then this process is hindered. The lever replenishes its damaged cells by creating new liver cells. When there is continuous damage, there are injuries on the liver, which is called 'cirrhosis'.
Some home remedies from which we can get rid of fatty liver disease are as follows:
1. Green Tea
The elements present in green tea are effective in destroying fat or vasa tissue. Green tea is always used to reduce fat. Consuming green tea destroys the fat present in the liver and also helps in keeping the liver healthy. For this, you should consume two to three cups of green tea per day.
2. Apple Vinegar
Apple vinegar or ACV is very useful in reducing the fat present in the liver. It also improves liver health. For this, drink a glass of warm water mixed with a spoonful of apple vinegar. You can consume it twice daily.
3. Bitter gourd
Bitter gourd is also considered an effective home remedy for the treatment of fatty liver disorder. Bitter gourd is very good for the overall functioning of the liver. For this, drink a glass of bitter gourd in the morning.
4. Lemon
Lemon is loaded with antioxidant properties which helps in removing toxins from the liver. Lemon is also useful in inflammation problems. Just for this, mix half a lemon juice in a glass of water and consume it twice daily.
5. Linseed
Linseed is very useful for the treatment of fatty liver disorder. Regular intake of flaxseeds keeps the liver healthy. Take one teaspoon of flaxseed with water daily. You can also use linseed oil which is rich in vitamin E.
