The texture of the eyes is like a balloon. A fluid is filled within it. This fluid inside the eye is constantly formed and released inside the eyes, which keeps your eyes moist and you avoid the problem of dry eyes. But when there is any problem in the process of formation and exit of this fluid inside the eyes, the pressure in the eyes increases. There are some optic nerves in the eyes, which are helpful in sending signals about an object to the brain. Due to the pressure placed on the eyes, these optic nerves are damaged, due to which the light of the eyes slowly starts to decrease. This condition is called glaucoma. Glaucoma is also commonly known as a black cataract.
