One type of glaucoma is intraocular pressure (IOP) that causes an increase in the pressure inside the eye. In order for this to happen, the eye has to work harder. One common method to increase the pressure inside the eye is with topical eye drops, which include thiazide diuretics. However, even with the use of eye drops, there is no cure for glaucoma.
